  • Aquitaine Travel Guide is a tourism company based in culinary adventures. With Anne Jordan as your guide, you’ll discover products from Aquitaine such as oysters, fois gras, caviar, and Bazadais beef. You’ll meet the chefs at local restaurants that focus on regional and seasonal ingredients. The winemakers will explain to you the process and how to taste anything from a white Sauternes to a red Graves. A real farm to table experience.
  • On the website, you will find some of our favorites in each village or area are listed, with where to eat and where to stay, what to see and do.  There are also posts on unique foods or products from the area, specifically Bazas which is located around 40 minutes South-East from Bordeaux.
  • Professionally, we offer services for visitors needing someone local to plan, organize or lead their trip to in the region. From finding accommodation, restaurant reservations or excursion planning, we are happy to help in any way possible to help you get the most out of your time here!

Anne JORDAN has an undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina in Wilmington and a French Culinary degree from Ferrandi-PARIS. She has worked in private yachting, Michelin restaurants, and food tourism all over Europe for much of the last 15 years. Her home base has always been France and she currently resides in Bazas outside of Bordeaux. As a culinary and travel guide professional, who has explored France most of her adult life, Anne JORDAN is able to create a personalized visit for individuals, families or groups based on your wants and needs.

Kimrey JORDAN is a Culinary Institute of America graduate, former instructor of the CIA; retired lead culinary instructor of a North Carolina community college and in an earlier life the chef owner of the highly regarded restaurant bearing his name outside of Washington D.C. Kimrey has twenty years experience leading culinary tours through France, Spain and Tuscany visiting farms, local markets, vineyards and professional culinary schools. He especially enjoys cooking alongside participants and sharing his knowledge and enjoyment of food while preparing the evening meal.
